Background
I completed my BSc in Equine and Human Sports Science at Warwickshire college, and my MSc in Equine Science at Edinburgh University. As an apprentice I worked my way through the BHS stages and got my PTT and Stage 3 certification before moving back to Norway. I have worked as a professional riding instructor my entire adult life. I took my teacher training in Norway and for the past ten years I have worked as a teacher in an agricultural college, teaching horse training, management and care. I qualified as a dog trainer through Trondheim Hundeskole in Norway.
I have published three textbooks on animal management and care. I am currently working on my animal behaviour consultant qualification at NMBU. I am on the board for Norwegian Behaviour Consultants (Norsk adferdsgruppe for selskapsdyr).
I am currently working on my animal behaviour consultant qualification at NMBU and taking the fear free trainer qualification.
